Enjoy! Christmas 2021 Performances

Three years ago I attempted to have our first casual  Carols and Cocoa performance. Unfortunately, due to scheduling there was not enough interest, so it was cancelled. Then Covid 19 hit! 2020 ended up being cancelled.  2021 was scheduled to happen, with the intention of having 2 groups of students come in and play, however Omicron took off. For the safety of the children, and the number of children in the studio, it was in everyone's best interest to record the students.

Please note, the intention is NOT a polished performance, and the students CHOSE what they wanted to perform. Carols are in addition to standard repertoire. (Some students just finished a Sonata Contest (see the sonata page!) and several students are preparing repertoire for the Certificate of Music testing in February.) My dream for Carols and Cocoa is more for the students to get together and play for each other informally, without the pressure of memorizing, in a relaxed atmosphere. 

Unfortunately, three students are not included in this years recordings, for one reason or another, but they are working hard at other material.
