Practice Space

I use this app to record lesson assignments, practice tips, and students can chat with others in the studio. It is required by all students and when you join the studio, I will send you a studio code so you can be put in my account. Students can also track their practice time. There is also a built in basic metronome. 

You will also receive a log in for My Music Staff where I track accounting and attendance. Although the system allows you to cancel, please continue to text message me when you need to cancel. Remember, last minute cancellations (less than 24 hours - unless an emergency) require full payment per studio policies.

I have been practicing on the Tonic App, created by Ray Chen, for 2 years now. My profile is Mother Goose - Denise, given to me by the children on Tonic, because when I practice, I often tell stories of the day. It is a safe platform for you to listen to others practice and for you to practice and be supported!

Instead of flash cards, I recommend NoteRush for learning notes with automaticity. The app is $4.99 and can be used on any tablet. I will be using it in the studio to assess note reading skills. The sooner the student can read notes fluently, the more quickly the student can play fluently.
